Bonjour et bienvenue au troisième jour du SIAL Canada 2026 !
Alors que nous entamons cette dernière journée, une chose ressort clairement : l’innovation est un fil conducteur pour l’ensemble de l’industrie. SIAL Canada offre justement un espace pour observer les évolutions du marché et découvrir ce qui façonnera les prochains mois et années, que ce soit en matière de santé, d’emballage ou d’impact environnemental. Comme André Forget, président du conseil d’administration d’Expo Canada France, a évoqué le premier jour du salon, la curiosité est d’une importance primordiale pour le secteur, et notre réussite collective en dépend.
Hier, les lauréats de la Start-Up Pitch Competition, qui célébrait sa 7ème édition cette année, ont été annoncés. Les projets présentés reflètent bien la diversité et le dynamisme du secteur, avec des approches concrètes et ancrées dans les réalités du terrain.
Alors que SIAL Canada arrive à sa fin, SIAL Network rassemble une série de salons organisés à travers le monde, reliant les marchés et faisant circuler les idées et les tendances à l’échelle internationale. SIAL Shanghai se tiendra plus tard ce mois-ci du 18 au 20 mai, suivi de Gourmet Selection et du Salon du fromage et des produits laitiers à Paris en juin. Le grand rendez-vous attendu par toute l’industrie reste bien sûr SIAL Paris, du 17 au 21 octobre cette année.
Mais ce n’est pas encore fini ! Il reste encore beaucoup à voir et à explorer aujourd’hui. Je vous souhaite une très belle fin de salon, au fil des rencontres et des découvertes.

Hello and welcome to the third day of SIAL Canada 2026!
As we begin this final day, one thing is clear: innovation is a common thread throughout the entire industry. SIAL Canada provides a platform to observe market trends and discover what will shape the coming months and years, whether it be in terms of health, packaging, or environmental impact. As André Forget, Chairman of the Expo Canada France Board, noted on the first day of the show, curiosity is of the utmost importance to the sector, and our collective success depends on it.
Yesterday, the winners were announced for the Start-Up Pitch Competition, which is celebrating its seventh edition this year. The projects presented reflect the sector’s diversity and dynamism, with concrete approaches rooted in real-world challenges.
As SIAL Canada draws to a close, SIAL Network offers a series of food trade shows around the world, connecting markets, ideas and trends on an international scale. SIAL Shanghai will take place later this month from May 18 to 20, followed by Gourmet Selection and the Cheese & Dairy Products Show in Paris in June. The flagship event eagerly awaited by the entire industry remains, of course, SIAL Paris, held from October 17 to 21 this year.
